ACAPELLA VIOLON MK III

Acapella Violon MK III is a consequent further development of Violon 1. In contrast to Violon 1 the Violon MK III is a closed 3 way-system, that optionally can be supplemented with a 25 cm bass device (suboctave), which itself is hidden in the enlarged total volume. Both bass devices are dynamically adapted to the high-speed of the mid-range and treble horn. Our ion treble speakers actually are the fastest treble transmission system throughout the world. As it works without mobile mass its high-end frequency amplification cut-off only depends on the limitations set by the sellers.

"Rebecca Pidgeon has a strong following among audiophiles for her stunningly clear and high vocals on a number of deliciously clean-sounding and folksy Chesky recordings. Not mainstream stuff perhaps, but perhaps the mainstream isn’t ready for it. The title track of The Raven [Chesky 115] is one of my all time favorites. Through the High Violons, the glorious swooping sadness of Pidgeon’s voice radiated from a huge glowing orb between the speakers that reached out in all directions into the room. Background strings were dead-perfect timbrally, separated, delicate, living and breathing. I had the impression of being enveloped and touched on all sides by the blue-white radiance of the sound. It may not be surprising that a selection containing so much information in the treble was so exquisitely rendered through the Violons, but I hesitate to dismiss the experience. My notes from that session say "I can die now." - Ultra Audio Ross Mantle , Read More

ACAPELLA VIOLON MK III

The ion tweeter speaker is designed for frequencies up to about 40 kHz. This extraordinary width of the frequency band makes it possible to play out every kind of music precisely. The exact modulation of the upper harmonic waves can be noticed even in the deepest bass regions. This speaker can be used in each and every acoustic environment due to its adjusting possibilities that perfectly correspond to the ion tweeter speaker and mid-range horn.

Peak Consult Empress"If the standard is whether or not I would live with a speaker, the Empress is about as highly recommended as they come... ...Would I buy 'em if I had $25 grand? Oh, heavens to Betsy, yes. It wasn't love at first sight but I could listen to the Empress for a lifetime." - Wes Phillips,Stereophile

Acapella LaCampanella"The Acapella LaCampanella is the best horn speaker I have experienced in memory. Never mind the LaCampella being a horn speaker, because they are one of the most differentiating in tonality among speakers I've used. Listening to music via the Acapella could drive a reviewer to retire, and I found myself listening harder to other speakers in constant search of a flamboyancy when the Acapella was taken out of the system." - by Constantine Soo September 3, 2005

Kharma Ceramique 2.3 Reference monitor "climb right into the venue of the music and watch the musicians perform. No other loudspeaker has done this for me. It is an extraordinary experience, way beyond the loudspeakers merely disappearing." - Enjoy the Music

German Physics The Borderland MKIII "...At the forte part of orchestral music, I could surely feel the natural balance and vivid feeling: the touch of the piano and the percussion sound was so real. The Borderland captured me with its sound....It seemed like the speaker was very revealing of the amplifier.Compared with the MBL 101, which sounds clear but light, the Borderland will surprise you by the powerful sound.
