Einstein The Light in the Dark (Stereo amplifier) When mated with our EINSTEIN linestage ‘The Tube’, bass runs are reproduced with unheard-of speed that reveals sonic vistas previously only hinted at. This power amp is a must hear, way better than it has any right to sound for the money. |
Einstein The Tube (preamplifier) For Roland Kraft of Image and Holger Barkse of Stereo (two popular German audio magazines), ‘The Tube’ combined the very best sonics and most flawless measurements ever encountered. BOULDER 810 Pre Amplifier The 810 and 850s were always a musical combination. This setup was always very dynamic and really lent itself to reproducing drums and percussion with the necessary attack to sound very lifelike. I found the combination of the 810 and 850's exhilarating to listen to on a number of levels. It's hard to believe that these are their entry level pieces, possessing the same level of quality and attention to details as their flagship electronics. You can tell that they want to keep you as a customer for life. The 810 and 850s are an example of American high technology at its finest. Jeff Dorgay, Tone Audio issue 6 - read more |

The New Boulder 800 SeriesIn year 2006, Boulder debuted the 800 Series. The 800 Series marks a new level of price point for Boulder products without sacrificing Boulder quality. In 2003, Boulder followed up with the 1010 Stereo Preamplifier. The 1010 features the 983 gain stage and uses the same volume control system in a single chassis. This brought Boulder’s superior performance to you in a simpler and much more compact package. By drawing on the technology and experience gained in the design of these products, Boulder has introduced the 810 Stereo Preamplifier. The 810 maintains Boulder’s familiar visual appeal, quality standards, and peerless reliability, yet makes Boulder’s universally renowned performance available to a much greater audience than ever before. Like its predecessors, the 810 Stereo Preamplifier features balanced, dual-mono, three-stage instrumentation-style circuitry. This eliminates any trace of noise, distortion, or impedance issues that may affect the delicate audio signal. Musical dynamics and detail emerge effortlessly from a black and silent background. Images are superbly defined and separated with a wealth of revealed low-level information. Two pairs of differentially
balanced XLR output connectors
allow the 810 Stereo Preamplifier to be used in a
traditional, a bi-amplified system, or an amplifier and
subwoofer combination for the ultimate reproduction
of music and soundtracks. This flexibility allows you
to expand your system in the future and hear your
favorite recordings better than ever.
A fully filtered and regulated power supply
provides pure power for all of the circuitry encased
within the chassis. Dual toroidal transformers, one |
