METRONOME C2-A SIGNATURE DETAILS

Design Features

Two box design Digital to Analog converter based on the best 24bit/192khz technology available with proprietary circuit and design. One box is dedicated to the converter, output electronic and digital inputs, the second box contain a separate power supply with 7 transformers. This configuration provide an heavy protection from EMI/RFI radiation from the outside world and reduce the negative influence of mechanical vibration from the transformers.
Each digital input use it own DIR for a lower level of jitter. A selectable upsampler is included for all inputs.
The tube output stage is isolated from digital radiation by the use of a separate power supply and a proprietary configuration of the tubes

Boulder 2020 Digital to Analog Converter This attention to analog performance is simply unprecedented. Five Burr-Brown DACs in parallel per channel significantly lower distortion and increase accuracy to theoretical limits. Boulder's unique three-chassis design affords maximum isolation between digital and analog circuitry. The separate power supply chassis houses independent regulated supplies for each channel, as well as the digital / display chassis.
