SILVERSMITH AUDIO PALLADIUM SPEAKER CABLE

Silversmith Audio's speaker cables reflect our design philosophy in its purest form: A single conductor per polarity - an ultra-thin ribbon conductor, seamless from end to end, without traditional solder or crimp connectors, and encased in an extremely thin wall Teflon™ tube system designed to maintain a primarily air dielectric. Our state-of-the-art palladium alloy conductor does not oxidize and improves upon the skin-effect related characteristics of gold, silver, copper, and aluminum by up to 25 fold.

"Great audio gets us closer to the recording, inasmuch as a great midrange gets us closer to the true sound of unamplified voices and musical instruments. I’ve had cables in my system -- good cables -- that do lovely things to the midrange, but at the price of impaired resolution. It’s the rare cable that gets it all right. The Palladiums are remarkable in that they resolve as beautifully as anything I’ve heard. That’s a knockout combination, that is: a delectable midrange with space and air to spare. What more can one ask? Sweet and natural highs? An accurate low end? They’re there too. " - ULTRA AUDIO ...Mike Silverton

"When used throughout a system, the Palladium cables offer a musical sophistication and a level of inner definition and voice that makes music sound like a performance rather than a recording. Other cables are more dynamic, some have similarly low levels of grain, but these are the most alive-sounding cables available. You just don't live with the Palladiums—you savor them. Are they the best in the world? At this price, they should be perfect enough for you to take the plunge. I missed their finely textured definition and musical realism when I took them out of my system. I have never heard nuance and clarity quite like this. " - Positive Feedback , reviewed by Robert H. TECHNICAL DATA

Geometry: Silversmith Audio speaker and interconnect cables each utilize parallel foil conductors, one per polarity, encased in ultra-thin wall Teflon tubing which maintains a primarily air dielectric between the conductors.

This geometry completely eliminates strand interaction errors inherent in all multi-strand and Litz designs, has low capacitance, and reduces skin-effect and dielectric related errors to the greatest extent possible.
