SILVERSMITH AUDIO DIGITAL CABLE

An audio cable should convey the electromagnetic waveform without error, regardless of whether that waveform representes analog information or digital information. Therefore, the Silversmith Audio analog and digital interconnects are identical. Thin wall Teflon™ tubes encase and separate the two (three for AES-EBU) ultra-thin silver ribbons and maintain a primarily air dielectric. A mesh shield, floating at one end, provides excellent RF/EMI rejection.

"My jaw pretty much dropped when I first slipped the Silversmith Audio Digital Cable between my Weiss Jason transport and Boulder DAC. The amount of additional detail and resolution I heard over my reference cable on the cymbals from Sarah McLaughlin's "Falling towards Ecstasy" literally astonished me. Even more astonishing was that the cable was just out of the bag with no burn in time. There was no trace of edginess and brightness which my reference cable showed by comparison and all forms of music from Jazz to AC/DC played music monstrously well."

TECHNICAL DATA

Geometry: Silversmith Audio speaker and interconnect cables each utilize parallel foil conductors, one per polarity, encased in ultra-thin wall Teflon tubing which maintains a primarily air dielectric between the conductors.

This geometry completely eliminates strand interaction errors inherent in all multi-strand and Litz designs, has low capacitance, and reduces skin-effect and dielectric related errors to the greatest extent possible.

Materials: The Silver line of cables utilizes a pure silver foil
