STEREOVOX SEI-600S

A single-jacket, stereo cable the SEI-600s is perfect for connecting your reference components within a dedicated rack. Pure, solid core silver delivers the signal while wrapped in air articulated Teflon tape ("Gossamer"), while a helically-wrapped silver-plated copper multi-filar shield protects the signal from interference. Xhadow Reference RCAs terminated by ISC method.

"The musical improvement wrought by the Stereovox cables is so consistent and so striking as to border on the unbelievable. They illustrate in a most convincing manner just what can be achieved in a passive component. Their sense of high frequency extension is limitless yet natural. For lack of a better word they seem infinitely fast and agile in their recreation of low frequency information. Perhaps most striking is the impact that the SEI-600 have on dynamics and stage size. Bring on the blindfolds, these cables are amazing....

...For myself I can say that the Sterevox SEI-600s are among the most musically significant components that I have ever heard. When you consider that they may be the one piece of a system that can never be made obsolete, that will function consistently over time and will partner with whatever other components that may be used in the future, there is every chance that the SEI-600s are a bargain. STEREOVOX SEI-600S

From 1997 to the present, Chris has dedicated his focus to creating the finest and most precise audio cables in the world under the STEREOVOX brand. Employing high technology precision solutions typically reserved for military, aerospace and surveillance industries, Stereovox cables are themselves extreme examples of precision audio cable design and execution.
Stereovox cables complete the rarest of reference audio systems, and bridge the gap between Audio and Music.

Soundstage.com said: "Expensive -- just in case you didn't know; but they do everything at such a high level, often surpassing other cables at the single thing they do best."

Technical Data

Our cables are grouped into different series, and geometries and technology can differ greatly depending upon the series. For instance: Analog cables in the Studio line employ tubular copper conductors in solid (high density) PTFE dielectrics, while cables from the Reference line use microfilar pure silver conductors encased in air-articulated (low density) PTFE dielectrics.

A word about connectors: We employ Xhadow connectors or our own Stereovox connectors [on Vespa only]. These connectors employ pure copper, plated in silver for the signal-conductors and are designed to allow for ISC soldered termination.

ISC stands for Intimately Stressed Contact, and it simply means that the signal wire and the connector it is attached to are not only in electrical contact with one another – but that they are contacting one another under extremely high stress. This guarantees that the connection, or “joint,” is a perfect one before any solder is applied. Thereafter, solder is applied to create a hermetic seal – never to act as an electrical bridge between wire and connector.
