NO COMPROMISES: MANUFACTURING Technical precision, costly measure technology and, last but not least, a great deal of fun at work are the most important things for the production and evaluation of a TIDAL. We own a beautiful company with over 400m², enough space to work and develope professional. |
Within the development we work with the help of different simulation and CAD programs. While in development and quality control, all TIDAL loudspeakers must go through the measuring technologies and the testing stand. Here we have the reference microphone technology from the specialist, Brüel & Kjaer, as well as computer-based FFT-measuring technology MLSSA and CLIO. |

In our 30 m² sound-optimised listening and demonstration room the complicated fine tuning and frequency switches take place. Here the reverberation times can be varied depending on the frequency. Therefore, we are in a position to simulate the acoustics of different living rooms during our product development. However, when we are not hard at work we often forget about the technology and simply do what this is all about - listening to music. |
The production of crossover networks: After fitting, each individual lifter is examined by means of a complex measurement for deviating tolerance values. Only when the completely equipped switch deviates in all relevant values to a maximum of 2% from the corresponding references, will they be built in the crossover network chamber of the box and stored suspended in special foam material. |

Before being installed, the drivers have to go through a special preparation procedure, in which they are artificially "made older" in advance, so that they already reach their stable parameters. Since good loudspeakers are like good red wines or whiskey - they become increasingly better, the older they get. |
Here you can see the completion of a "Piano". In the air-tight floor room the low pass crossover frequency as well as the main coil of the midrange crossover network are placed. This way, far away from the driver magnets and the sensitive mid-highrange crossover network, undesired mutual manipulations through inductions, are avoided. |

Our piano lacquer finishes are praised all over the world as one of the finest anywhere. A lot of experience and excellent craftsmanship is neccesary to polish the dull polyester surface to a black mirror without "waves" or "orange skin effects". |
On account of the complicated processing of the millimetre thick piano varnish, a trained eye, a calm hand and plenty of instinctive feel is necessary for the assembly of the chassis. For this, each individual driver is previously cut in very precisely - a work which cannot be done by any machine. |

Stable flightcases, chromium-plated pikes which can be adjusted in height, corresponding chromium plated bottom plates, a detailed operating manual as leather book and a special micro fibre cloth, for the cleaning of the piano lacquer, are included as standard in the delivery. |
| The "SUNRAY" has even two seperated flightcases only with accessories. The spikes are made of aluminum with an hardened stellball inside. Inside is also the granite bottom plate made from the finest and most expensive material called "Nero Assoluto". |
