Triplanar Precision Tonearm MKVII

SPECIFICATION

The facts, Vinyl is the best way to reproduce music with maximum quality short of borrowing the master tapes when the producer isn't looking. SACD / DVD-A and CD can be very good and they offer convenience and take way less storage space. Nothing beats the tactile nature of vinyl records, it is almost a religious experience, the cleaning storing microscopic adjustments to your arm and cartridge to extract the most music from the groove.

Why do triplanar only produce one tone arm?

Simply because it is the best tone arm that they can produce and is widely acknowledged to be one of the finest tone arms in the world.

Why after all would you want to produce an inferior product, or water down a product with inferior bearings just so you could sell it at a cheaper price. Good accurate engineering costs money and takes time which is reflected in the very reasonable cost for such an item.

DPS 3 Main difference between the dps 2 and dps 3 is in the upgraded motor/power supply. To answer the question, yes it is worth the extra outlay in funds. If you havn't heard it then you could happily go through life secure in the knowledge that you have an excellent turntable, in fact one of the very best. However hear the difference the dps 3 makes and you just have to have it, much closer to the master tape than it has any right to be at anything near this price.

Schroder The Reference  To illustrate, I recently auditioned what may be the finest-sounding analog rig I've ever heard: a DPS 'table mated with a Schroder tonearm and an Allaerts cartridge. These three companies didn't even exist a few years ago. The Scroder createsa startling absence of mechanical sound.

Lyra SkalaAt first listen, you will instantly hear a tremendous sense of dynamics with incredible amounts of fine, low-level musical detail. The Skala combines this incredible detail retrieval with a tremendous sense of warmth and musicality. What’s even more astounding is the noise level of this cartridge; it’s almost undetectable!

Zanden 1200S Phono stage The all new Zanden 1200S phono stage is a remarkable achievement in the world of analog reproduction. Not only is the Model 1200S a world class performer in impact and musicality, but it also offers the serious vinyl music lover the choice of proper equalization for recordings from the 50's clear on through to the 80s.
