Our Opinon Zanden 9500 does not have a lot of power and need a fairly efficient speaker like the Kharma's or Peak Consult. It can drive the Acapella's but will not let the speakers perform to their best. If you search the web you will find many shows with the Zanden driving either the Peak or Kharma Speakers with great success. |
The Zanden 9500 back
"...Previously, if someone had offered to replace my record
players and record collection wholesale with CDs and a player of
my choice, I'd have questioned their sanity and then shown them the
door. Now I'd have to consider that offer seriously. That's
how big a step the Zanden digital electronics represent. They don't
sound like any CD player I've ever heard before. They sound
better. They don't sound like any turntable either - they're different.
In many ways, they've redefined my expectations of recorded music.
Just when you thought CD was dying if not exactly dead, Zanden
have brought it back to real breathing life -- somewhere it's never
been before -- and that's good news for all of us ..." Roy Gregory, HiFi+, March 2005 |

Kharma Exquisite MP 350 amplifierIt does not sound like solid state, nor like tubes, nor like anything else; is in its own class. If it would have to be placed is a class it would be the one of reality. In combination with any Exquisite loudspeaker the MP350 is a guarantee for experiencing sheer joy. |

Boulder2050 Mono block AmplifierFor those Masters of the Universe, my advice would be to go for Boulder hook, line, and sinker. Taken as a system, the three elements that make up the 2000 Series are about as perfect as they come." |
